The 2018 World Cup is here and what better time than now to look back at Mexico’s previous World Cup kits. I recap El Tri’s kits since the 1994 World Cup and give you my favorite memory at each World Cup. I do try to avoid the traumatic ones but no promises.
In a shock to no one, Adidas decided to give us a green jersey for the upcoming World Cup. It will also be the first jersey to feature the new crest. The old crest will always hold a special place in my heart but the new one has grown on me since it was announced. As it with all their World Cup kits, Adidas is using their new logo as well. So, there’s a lot going on in this kit. How did it turn out?Continue reading
A couple weeks ago, Puma announced their Euros 2021 kits for Italy, Austria, Switzerland and Czech Republic. Fans hated them and they were mocked relentlessly on social media platforms. We all know kit makers like to use templates when it comes to the bulk of their designs but Pumas has taken it to the extreme. Reach out to me via email or DM if you are interested. Ultimately, the price will range between $30-40 depending on the final order count and will ship 6-8 weeks after the order is placed.

Mexico’s World Cup 2018 kits leaked all the way back in January but they have not been officially announced. The latest leaked of official images likely mean an announcement from Adidas is not too far off.
I am always up for teams changing up their kits every once in a while. Especially if they go outside the box. Graphic Designer Franco Carabajal does just that in his National Team “Flag” kits. He uses the flag of each country as the base for their kits. Luckily, he created a Mexico kit and I believe, it is much better than the leaked Adidas kit for the 2018 World Cup.
