Vela is banged up, Chicharito and Jimenez never see the field, Ochoa has not played a league game but there are other players to watch this weekend.
FRIDAY
1:00pm- PSV v AZ Alkmaar– El Principito is back and will start this game.
1:45PM- Real Sociedad v Almeria– Carlitos is still out and will likely miss the March FIFA date.
2:30PM-FC Porto v Guimares– Diego Reyes has been left out of the call up sheet but look for Herrera to feature in this match.
SATURDAY
9:00AM- Watford v Bolton– Miguel Layun’s European Adventure is going well and could culminate with a promotion into the EPL.
11:00AM- Real Madrid v Deportivo– Javier Hernandez is hoping he sees the field, almost as much as Piojo.
3:00PM- Espanyol v Malaga– Hector Moreno is now consistently playing big minutes for his club team and its only a matter of time until he does that for his national team.
SUNDAY
8:00AM- Hellas Verona v Genoa– If there is one thing true this season, it is that Hellas will have one Rafa Marque(z/s) in their starting lineup.
9:45AM- FC Twente v Ajax– This will be a tough match up for Tecatito’s Twente but they need to get something from this game if they want to compete for a Europe League spot.
11:00AM- Vitoria v Benfica– Facing one of the Portuguese giants is never easy for a small club, hopefully Uli gets more minutes.
12:00PM- Rayo Vallecano v Villarreal– El Submarino Amarillo will lean hard on Jona as Bruno will be out for a while. Jona has shown to be a player who can be counted on this season. His brother is slowly rounding into form. I am not sure if Aquino can play due to him going up against his parent club.
2:00Pm- Atletico Madrid v Celta Vigo– Jimenez has not scored a goal since September. While Cholo has said all the right things, Raul needs to reward his manager’s patience.
